Dataloggers / Standalone Data Acquisition Systems
Valitec Manufactures data loggers and standalone data acquisition systems for end-users and OEMs. Custom and semi-custom products are based on a field-proven core of reliable hardware, firmware and software. These battery-powered, multi-channel data loggers are ideal for any application involving physical properties that change over time. Acceleration (or shock), pressure, temperature, strain (or force), rotation (or angular rate), displacement and tilt angle are among many physical properties that can be recorded with Valitec's dataloggers. Low power and long battery life enable process monitoring, field testing, and other remote or in-the-field applications.

Dynamic Applications
Valitec's dataloggers are complete standalone data acquisition systems featuring fast sampling capability for capturing and recording dynamic events. Event-triggering - recording triggered by the level of an analog signal, a digital transition (such as a switch or relay) or the time-of-day - is used to capture only the desired information, and makes efficient use of on-board memory when sampling very fast. Fast sampling and trigger modes provide unique capabilities for capturing and recording signals from accelerometers, rate gyros and other sensors in aerospace in-flight and automotive in-vehicle applications - or in any dynamic environment.

DataReady™ software for Windows and PocketReady™ software for PalmOS combine to deliver a complete solution for field and fleet data logger applications. Remote data collection is simple with the PocketReady™ software running on a handheld computer (PDA).

The ReadyDAQ™ family of dataloggers offers various input channel combinations. Voltage inputs can be used to measure and record signals from sensors of all types, including 4-20mA transmitters. Temperature inputs are available for thermistors and themocouples. Digital inputs can record the state of dry contact relays and switches. Low-level millivolt inputs can be used to record from millivolt-output (unamplified) sensors and bridge transducers such as strain gages and strain-gage -based sensors.

Valitec offers various signal conditioning options and operating modes that may not be included in standard data logger configurations, including galvanic isolation, differential inputs, bridge completion, pre-trigger datalogging, millivolt input range, high voltage (DC and AC voltage), thermocouple inputs, frequency measurement, pulse counting and higher memory capacity.

Please contact Valitec to inquire about these options.
